It's Blackberry season in our neighborhood so that meant lots of picking for me and lots of sampling for A and L! I have never made jam before an either had our neighbors so we teamed up to attempt it together. Jam making is a lot of WORK! But we had fun and involved the girls up until the hot part. They loved smooshing the blackberries and stirring the pot. We had some
learning curves along the way (we broke three jars!), learning for next year! We also have so many that I have frozen bags for smoothies and I made a cake too!
