With the Christmas season upon us, it was time for the Christmas Countdown. I got this idea last year and ordered our Calender off Etsy in October. I then crafted the tags to go in each pocket for L to choose each morning, some have a treat but most is a Christmas experience for us to enjoy together as a family. So far, L enjoys finding the treat, but does not like that she can only get to look in one pocket each day! These are some of the activities we have for this year;
- Decorate the tree
- Go and see the lights
- Make Christmas cookies
- Decorate a Gingerbread House with friends
- Write a letter to Santa
- Go and visit Santa
- Go for a ride on the Polar Express
- Wrap a toy and take it to a charity christmas tree
- Have hot chocolate with all the fixings
- Watch a Christmas Movie and have popcorn
- Do a Christmas Craft
- Go to the library and take out Christmas books
