A What?

I got a call today from BC Women's. We have an appointment with a Pediatric Nephrologist. A WHAT?? you ask. That is how I felt? I went and looked it up (thanks gain Google).

Nephrology (from Greek νεφρός – nephros, "kidney", combined with the suffix -logy, "the study of") is a branch of internal medicine and pediatrics dealing with the study of the function and diseases of the kidney.^[1]

Good to know, I will be up on all the lingo by the time this baby arrives! The appointment is in early June, so I hope we can have some of our questions answered.
